Jean-Mathieu began his career with Société Générale (M&A team), before moving into private equity with various teams. In 30 years, Jean-Mathieu has supported more than 70 companies, with a focus on innovation and international expansion. 10 years ago, convinced of the crucial role played by international expansion in the development and survival of companies, Jean-Mathieu created the first fund dedicated exclusively to French companies that export, or wish to do so. Combining equity capital, grants and subsidies, expertise, networks and local contacts, Capital Export is a direct response to the needs of company directors and managers who place international expansion at the heart of their strategy.

After 3 years in Research and Development with the Renault Group, Michel spent 7 years with Entrepreneur Invest, where he participated in the origination, structuring and support of over 20 expansion capital and LBO transactions, with a particular interest in innovative companies with distinctive know-how. With a new and enriching experience as Managing Director of a mostly exporting industrial SME, Michel joined Capital Export in 2017 and brings both his investment practice as well as a very good knowledge of the distinctive French companies that are Capital Export's raison d'être. Michel is a graduate of ESSEC and ESTACA business schools.

After two years' experience with Xange Private Equity and Amundi Private Equity, Charles-Antoine (ESSCA Paris) joined Capital Export in 2013. He has been involved in the structuring of over 15 transactions (LBO and Expansion Capital).

Nhu Quynh joined Capital Export in 2022, after 8 years' experience in small/mid cap M&A consulting with Goetzpartners and then DDA & Company. Over the course of her career, she has been involved in some twenty transactions in the TMT and Medtech sectors. Nhu Quynh is a graduate of ESCP-Europe and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

After an international career at IESEG, punctuated by years of study and internships in Brazil and Spain, Mathilde began her career with several experiences in the small cap world, first in acquisition auditing at PwC, then at Oderis, where she carried out around ten Transaction Services assignments, before joining the investment business at Turenne Groupe in 2020. As part of the generalist team, she will contribute to 4 development capital and buyout transactions, exclusively involving B2B companies. Mathilde joined Capital Export in 2024, where she supports the partners in the analysis and study of new investments, as well as in the monitoring of existing holdings.

Thomas Escudier joined the investment team as an Analyst in 2024, after initial significant experience in private equity at Ardian Expansion and Bpifrance Investissement, as well as at Squareness in Transaction Services. In particular, he has worked on a dozen acquisition and investment financial audit assignments for small/mid cap companies. He brings a complete expertise of the investment process and will support the team in its new operations as well as in the support of current participations. Thomas is a graduate of CentraleSupélec.

Victor joined the investment team as an Analyst in 2025, after completing an internship at Capital Export in 2024. He had previously gained experience in Transaction Services at Eight Advisory, working on several investment and restructuring transactions. His academic career, marked by dual training at ISAE-SUPAERO and HEC Paris, was also enriched by experience as an engineer at the Observatoire de Paris and the Direction Générale de l'Armement, as well as several months' study in Japan. Today, he supports the team in transaction execution and strategic monitoring of portfolio holdings.

Marion began her career supporting and financing small businesses, including 5 years in local private equity. In 2016, she moved on to middle office, process and regulatory roles at management companies, first at IRDI Capital Investissement, then at Capital Export from 2020.

Antoine joined Capital Export in 2024, after 9 years' experience in financial auditing with RSM France, then Grant Thornton. Over the course of his career, he has worked on projects in a wide range of sectors (industry, services, investment funds, the public sector, associations, etc.) and sizes (from regional SMEs to multinationals).

Florence has been assisting companies with their international development for over 20 years (more than 1,000 companies advised). After business development experience in Asia, she worked in regional international support services. Florence joined Capital Export in 2019 from Classe Export, where she was in charge of the financial engineering unit.

Stella joined Capital Export in January 2020, after three years' experience in a B2B sales department. She is responsible for the administrative and accounting management of the Management Company.

Bénédicte has over 20 years' experience in internal control and compliance with asset management companies. She began her career in auditing with PricewaterhouseCoopers, first in Luxembourg, then in Paris, before joining a specialized firm where she developed her expertise in compliance. On the strength of this experience, she set up her own business dedicated to compliance and internal control. Since the creation of Capital Export, she has held the position of delegated RCCI, ensuring compliance with regulations and the implementation of best practices.

Julia has over 20 years' experience in developing service offerings for SMEs and ETIs. She began her career with Salesforce in Paris, before setting up her own business developing and coordinating customer relations in the financial sector. A few years later, Julia joined Capital Export in 2022, as Development Manager, with particular responsibility for developing relations with Capital Export's customers and partners.
