Digital training and information for healthcare professionals
SFP was founded in 2013 by Jean-Eric Lucas to provide mandatory continuing education for health professionals. The company offers 150 modules annually, enabling health professionals to meet their continuing education requirements. Through its subsidiaries GMS and Oseus, the group also publishes specialized professional journals and offers webinars on health topics.
Capital Export invested in SFP Expansion through an OBO in July 2019. Since 2020, the group has expanded its training catalog, increased participant numbers, and diversified into the media sector by acquiring Global Media Santé. The company has developed an aggressive sales policy to drive strong growth in its core business. By the end of 2020, revenue had doubled to 17 million euros in less than two years. In response to this growth, Capital Export led a secondary LBO in May 2021, making a significant new investment with Naxicap Partner.
This new investment will enable the company to pursue dynamic growth by focusing on two main strategic areas: accelerating external growth in a consolidating market and launching an international business development strategy (primarily in the United States), supported by Capital Export's network. At the end of 2021, the group had already made three acquisitions: Oseus, Immostéo, and Webdental. These companies produce online continuing education courses for general practitioners, radiologists, and dentists. This has allowed SFP to expand its course offering, which had previously focused on nurses and physical therapists, to reach €20 million in revenue. The company is thus nearing its objective of becoming the leader in training for health professionals and digital information in France, while establishing itself in new international markets.
