Digital training and information for healthcare professionals
Founded in 2013 by Jean-Eric Lucas, the group specializes in mandatory training for healthcare professionals. With its 150 modules, SFP Expansion helps many healthcare professionals fulfill their training obligations every year. Through its subsidiaries GMS and Oseus, the group also publishes specialized professional journals and organizes health-related webinars. Capital Export took a stake in SFP Expansion during an OBO in July 2019. Starting in 2020, the group strengthened its training catalog, increased its number of participants, and diversified into the media sector with the acquisition of Global Media Santé. In its core business, an assertive commercial strategy generated strong growth. By the end of 2020, in less than two years, revenue had doubled to reach 17 million euros. In this favorable environment, Capital Export arranged a secondary LBO in May 2021 and significantly reinvested alongside Naxicap Partner. This new shareholder structure will allow the group to pursue its growth trajectory based on two main strategic pillars: accelerating external growth in a rapidly consolidating market and launching an international expansion strategy, with a priority focus on the United States supported by Capital Export’s network. By late 2021, the group had already completed three acquisitions: Oseus, Immostéo, and Webdental. These companies provide continuous e learning programs for general practitioners, radiologists, and dentists. The group thus broadened its portfolio, which had previously focused mainly on nurses and physiotherapists, and now reports consolidated revenue exceeding 20 million euros. The group is advancing toward its goal of becoming the leading provider of training and digital information for healthcare professionals in France while establishing a strong presence in new international markets.
