CELEC manufactures a large range of optoelectronic sensors using its proprietary technology (10 international patents). The group provides its clients with high-tech, custom-made detection and control solutions. CELEC is located in France (Neufchâtel-en-Bray) and China (Ningbo), with 70% of its sales in international markets in three categories: sanitaryware, door automation, and checkout conveyor control.
In 2015, Capital Export orchestrated a BIMBO transaction with Michel Fardo (who came from the railway industry), working with the existing management team to develop an aggressive growth strategy focused on launching new product ranges, conquering new industries, and increasing international sales. With the objectives achieved and a promising outlook, Capital Export decided in 2020 to continue its long-term support for the company by renewing its commitment to CELEC and its team.
