Founded in 1968, the SEAT Ventilation Group is an equipment manufacturer specializing in air extractors for corrosive, toxic or explosive atmospheres (ATEX). These solutions are designed to extract toxic gases and vapors from fume cupboards (high-tech hoods), particularly in research, medical and pharmaceutical laboratories, hospitals, chemical and pharmaceutical plants and water treatment units.
With a distribution network in 70 countries and its subsidiary Plastec Ventilation in the United States, the group generates more than half of its fast-growing international sales.
Positioned in a niche market served by just a few specialists worldwide, the SEAT Ventilation Group is keen to intensify its international positions, both through organic growth and acquisitions. Capital Export's experience and networks support this approach in Europe, the United States and Asia, which are priority development zones given the very large commercial pools that can be addressed.

Over the last 5 years, Jean-Jacques Gaudiot has structured and transformed SEAT Ventilation, to put in place the organization and resources needed to sustain the pace of development, with a remarkable first step, notably in the United States. The company is ideally placed today to be a consolidating player, and to open up to new markets and geographies.
