Founded in 1981, Proconect designs, assembles and distributes power connectors for complex industrial applications in critical environments. The company has recognized expertise in the rail, port, airport and mining sectors, as well as with heavy-vehicle equipment manufacturers. Proconect products are marketed via distributors based in various parts of the world (Europe, Asia, South America, Oceania). Proconect generates 70% of its sales from exports. Since July 2021, the group has integrated Minilampe, a manufacturer of industrial lighting solutions. Historically specialized in the manufacture of incandescent lamps for railway signalling, for which it alone masters filament production and glass working, this SME has since extended its offering to LED lighting. It now serves players in the railway sector, as well as the aeronautics, defense and marine industries. In July 2020, Béatrice Barokhel succeeded the company's founder, Bertrand Courtaigne, to become President and CEO after 29 years with the company. As part of this transfer, the company welcomes Capital Export as a majority shareholder and strategic partner. Our joint project is to implement a development strategy aimed at creating a group with sales of €25 million within 5 years, a benchmark in the supply of electrical equipment for complex and critical environments. This strategy is based on a strong organic growth dynamic, as well as an active and selective acquisitions policy involving companies operating in related products and markets. This enables the company to pursue an ambitious development project, both in France and internationally, thanks in particular to the many tools, networks and value-creation levers at Capital Export's disposal. Shortly after acquiring a stake in July 2021, Capital Export supported the acquisition of Minilampe, an established designer of lighting solutions for complex environments. In less than 2 years, the company's sales have more than doubled. At the same time, numerous growth projects in France and abroad have been launched.

After many years spent developing Proconect, I'm delighted to be giving this new impetus. I'm convinced that Capital Export will provide important support for our growth ambitions, particularly internationally, but also in the identification and implementation of relevant acquisitions, both in France and abroad.
