Project team
Founded in 1976, Proengin designs, produces, and markets a comprehensive range of chemical and biological threat detectors aimed at ensuring the safety of people and critical infrastructure. These solutions, based on flame spectrophotometry (FPD) technology—of which Proengin is the pioneer and undisputed world leader—are primarily intended for armed forces and civil defense organizations in France and over 70 countries. Capitalizing on Proengin's technical excellence and international renown, Jean-François Brun and his teams are aiming for a group development dynamic based on three strategic pillars:
Expanding Proengin's market share internationally, particularly in the American, Asian, and Middle Eastern markets with Capital Export’s support;
Creating and rapidly deploying a department dedicated to service activities;
Developing new solutions for the civilian market and critical infrastructure, broadening the use of FPD technology.
Proengin wishes to strengthen its technological leadership in CBRN threat management through increased research and development efforts. In 2021, Capital Export continues its commitment to Proengin within the framework of a new operation alongside Qualium Investissement.
