Production of high-tech hydraulic cylinders
Founded in 1990, HPS International designs, produces, and markets high-tech hydraulic cylinders. The Group generates over 90% of its activity internationally. HPS is established in eight countries and has five production sites: two in France (Ennery and Saint-Chamond with its subsidiary ACIM), one in China (Shenzhen), one in Brazil (Sao Paulo), and one in Germany with its subsidiary Hydropneu. This international coverage allows it to serve the dynamic markets of Germany, North America, and Asia, particularly China. In 2017, Capital Export led an MBI operation alongside Grégory Poitrasson, who took over the company as manager. Grégory Poitrasson and Capital Export based HPS International's development on three pillars: (i) international expansion in the North American, German, and Asian markets; (ii) the launch of innovative new products (currently in the final test phase before pre-commercialization); and (iii) the optimization of industrial processes. Since then, the Group has pursued this development strategy, supported and advised by Capital Export in key stages: identification of build-up targets in Europe (notably Germany and France), resulting in the acquisition of ACIM in France, Hydropneu in Germany, and finally Iron Jaw in Portugal; recruitment of international executives, opening of a production unit in the United States, and implementation of financing and subsidies to support this ambitious industrial project.
