HPS

Founded in 1990, HPS International designs, produces and markets high-tech hydraulic cylinders. Over 90% of the Group's business is generated internationally. HPS is present in 8 countries, with 5 production sites: 2 in France (Ennery and Saint Chamond with its subsidiary ACIM), in China (Shenzhen), in Brazil (Sao Paulo) and in Germany with its subsidiary Hydropneu. This international coverage enables us to serve the dynamic markets of Germany, North America and Asia, particularly China. In 2017, Capital Export carried out an MBI alongside Grégory Poitrasson, who took over the company as CEO. Grégory Poitrasson and Capital Export based HPS International's development on 3 axes: (i) international expansion on the North American, German and Asian markets; (ii) the launch of innovative new products (at the end of the test phase before pre-marketing) and (iii) the optimization of industrial processes. Since then, the group has pursued this development strategy, supported and advised by Capital Export in the main stages: identification of build-up targets in Europe (Germany and France in particular), resulting in the acquisition of ACIM in France, Hydropneu in Germany, and finally Iron Jaw in Portugal; recruitment of international managers, opening of a production unit in the USA, setting up of financing and subsidies to support this ambitious industrial project.
