Founded in 2013 by Jean-Eric Lucas, SFP Expansion has become one of the key players in the Health e-learning segment (via its Santé Forma Pro brand in particular) and in digital medical information (via the publication of La Revue du Praticien in particular). Very early on, the company set itself apart from its competitors through the quality of its content and its technological expertise (3D, virtual reality), which earned it an award at CES in Las Vegas in 2019.
The group offers a comprehensive range of continuing education courses (150 e-learning modules), enabling healthcare professionals to meet their continuing education obligations (Continuing Professional Development). Since the acquisition of Global Media Santé in October 2020, this historic activity has been complemented by the publication of four benchmark medical journals (La Revue du Praticien, le Concours Médical, Egora.fr, le Panorama du Médecin).
Based in Aix-en-Provence, the SFP Expansion Group employs 111 people and generates sales of €20 million.
This new round of financing will enable the group to pursue its expansion dynamic and seize external growth opportunities in a market undergoing rapid consolidation. The acquisition of Oseus, less than 8 months after that of Global Media Santé, underlines the potential and ambitions of the group, which aims to double in size over the next four years.
Oseus, based in Lyon, will enable SFP to expand its range by integrating the non-compulsory training segment for healthcare specialists. Oseus shares the same DNA as SFP Expansion, insofar as technological mastery, expert networks and quality content are also the foundations of the company's growth.
