Founded in 2013 by Jean-Eric Lucas, SFP Expansion has become a key player in the Health e-learning segment (through its Santé Forma Pro brand) and in digital medical information (through its publication La Revue du Praticien). Early on, the company stood out for the quality of its content and strong technological expertise (3D, virtual reality), earning an award at the 2019 CES in Las Vegas.
SFP offers a comprehensive range of continuing education courses (150 e-learning modules) that allow healthcare professionals to fulfill their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) obligations. Since acquiring Global Media Santé in October 2020, the company has expanded to publishing four leading medical journals (La Revue du Praticien, Le Concours Médical, Egora.fr, and Le Panorama du Médecin).
Based in Aix-en-Provence, SFP Expansion employs 111 people and generates €20 million in revenues.
This new funding round will enable SFP to continue expanding and capitalize on external growth opportunities in a rapidly consolidating market. Acquiring Oseus less than 8 months after Global Media Santé highlights the potential and ambitions of the company, which aims to double in size over the next four years.
Oseus, based in Lyon, will enable SFP to expand its portfolio by entering the non-mandatory training segment for healthcare professionals. This company shares DNA with SFP Expansion, leveraging technological expertise, expert networks, and high-quality content to drive growth.
