Digital training and information for health professionals
Groupe SFP was founded in 2013 by Jean-Eric Lucas to provide mandatory continuing education for health professionals. SFP Expansion offers 150 modules each year that allow health professionals to fulfill their continuing education requirements.
Through its subsidiaries GMS and Oseus, the group also publishes specialized professional journals and offers webinars on health topics.
Since 2020, the group has expanded its training catalog, increased the number of participants, and diversified into the media realm by acquiring Global Media Santé. In the training area, the company has developed an aggressive sales policy to drive strong growth. By the end of 2020, in less than two years, revenues had doubled to €17 million.
In response to this growth, Capital Export led a secondary LBO in May 2021, making a significant new investment alongside Naxicap Partner. This new investment will allow the group to pursue its dynamic growth, focusing on two main strategic areas: accelerate external growth in a consolidating market and launch an international business development strategy (primarily in the United States), with the support of Capital Export’s network.
At the end of 2021, the group had already made three acquisitions: Oseus, Immostéo, and Webdental. These companies publish online continuing education courses for general practitioners, radiologists, and dentists. This has allowed the group to expand its course offering, which had previously focused on nurses and physical therapists, and reach €20 million in sales.
The group is thus nearing its objective of becoming the leader in training for health professionals and digital information in France and establishing itself in new markets abroad.
